21 Irish companies to hold a Meeting of Creditors in the next fortnight.

At the moment, 21 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator in the first half of September (1st - 15th).

According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of just under E5.3m.

Over half of these companies (11) are based in Dublin, with a further two each in Cork, Galway and Wicklow. The other affected counties are Cavan, Donegal, Meath and Roscommon.

Nine of the affected companies operate within the professional services sector with a further four insolvencies in the hospitality sector. The other affected industries are construction and wholesale & retail (3 each), social & personal services and transport & logistics.
