Over 3,200 New Business Start-ups in March!

There's no doubt that things have slowed right across the economy, but there's still lots of business to be done. That's the message to be drawn from the latest statistics produced by Vision-net.ie...

During March this year over 3,200 of you have set up Companies or Businesses. That's an incredible 16% increase on the same period last year. Overall in the first quarter the start ups are slightly down but not by as much as you'd expect, just 1.4%!

In January alone over 2,800 new businesses were formed, which is down on 2008 figures. But the stronger figures for February and March, have made up for this shortfall.

So business is still being done out there – and more importantly there's nearly 10,000 new start ups to do business with already this year. So who are they? »
