As an Irish owned Company Information and Credit Risk Agency, we're getting our St. Patrick's Day hats on in order to celebrate all things Irish this week! To do that, we're going to start looking at the numbers:

5,708 - new Irish businesses set up in 2013
4,558 - first time directors of Irish companies in 2013
3,286 - new Irish companies set up so far this year - up 10% on 2012

Did you know... ...Patrick is the third most popular name for a Male director in Ireland. Patricia is the 5th most popular amongst female directors.

Aries and Pisces are second and third respectively.   ...Dublin is the most popular location for start-ups in 2013 accounting for over 40% of new companies... Cork and Galway are the second and third most popular locations.
