With tomorrow being St. Patrick's Day we thought now would be a great time to celebrate being Irish.
As you probably know, we're a 100% Irish owned and run Company Information and Credit Risk agency - as a result of that we're taking this opportunity to celebrate all things Irish. Let's start by taking a look at the numbers:
190,662- Irish companies trading as Normal
6,015- Irish businesses registered so far this year
5,172- first time directors of Irish companies in 2015
3,812- Irish start-ups formed so far this year
Did you know:
- The first St. Patrick's Day parade in Ireland took place in 1931 - the first one ever took place in Boston in 1737
- The original colour associated with St. Patrick was blue
- Approximately 13m pints of Guinness are expected to be sold worldwide on St. Patrick's Day
We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for St. Patrick's Day - we hope you have a good one wherever you are. Our offices will be closed this Tuesday, 17th March 2015, due to the Bank Holiday but will re-open at 9.00am the following day.
